She acts like she's just figuring out that the cat is demented. He's a cat. They're all demented. Some of them are manic about it--others are more subtle.
J's pretty smart for a person. Maybe I've spoiled her. She seems to think the cat's going to listen to what she says. I really don't know why.
This isn't her first cat. She had cats when we first got together. Mr. Whiskers. He was orange and nearsighted. He thought I was Paige--J's first dog. Paige was afraid of getting her nose scratched. I'm not.
Mr. Whiskers slapped my face a few times and then I growled at him. He realized that I wasn't Paige and I was a whole lot bigger than him. We reached an understanding. But then, he was an older cat.
Roland is a year old. He's a maniac. He jumps on the counter and waits to make sure she means it before he jumps down. He drags the bread around --she bought a bread box. He shreds the toilet paper. Just today, Roland discovered the top of the refrigerator. The fun is just getting started.
I'm not worried. I got my bluff in first on this cat. What that means is that I'm safe, but J's probably gonna get her feelings hurt. I may actually have to bite this cat. I hate their hair. It's really hard to scrape off my tongue.
I'll let you know what happens.

Cosmo, I have a cat Misha and she's a very nice cat. Before she came to my home, she was in a home that had a dog. And she was very nice to the dog, even helping the dog with having a bath (licking)
Too I wanted to let you know Cosmo, that dogs shed alot of hair too. So Roland knows how it feels too with the hair on his tongue.
:) Cathie
I know about dogs that work with deaf people. A friend of mine did that. She snored really loud. It was a great team.
Thanks for reading what I wrote, Cathie.
