We headed for the shower. I just hang out on the big round mat she got for me. The steam relaxes me and I like to know what she’s doing. She could slip ya know.
Anyhow, she came out of the shower still mumbling, but happier. She said something to me about muses, sailboats, and Thomas Jefferson, and started to dry her hair. She wasn’t into it and just headed for the kitchen--coffee.
I know I’m gonna have a good day when J gets the peanut butter out. It was a very good day.
She slapped some peanut butter on a rawhide-filled bone, handed it to me and wandered over to the machine. The only time she got up was when the phone rang. All she did was stuff it under the couch cushion and start typing again. She didn’t even notice what time it was. The kid had to ring the doorbell to get in. She never brings her keys. Told you J would be locking the door from now on.
Whatever she was typing, she finished. Like I said, a good day. She may end up doing more. She was sweeping the stairs, but she’s on her way back. Yep, heading for the peanut butter. This really is a good day. I’ll catch ya later.
Hope you had a good day, too.

Hi Cosmo! I am so glad to see you in cyber. I have enjoyed hearing all about you even though it makes me miss our Molly. Yellow labs are special so just know when you aren't on duty & we meet in real, check out my left pocket. :)
Hi Pinetree! I think yellow labs are special, too. Have you met Paige? All sexy fur and attitude.
You'll have to give J the treat and she'll give it to me. Rules, ya know...
Paige isn't receiving visitors for awhile...the crowd at mother's day dinner was juuuuuust a little too much.
She'll have her people call your people.
